Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Make-A-Wish Foundation of America!

As most of you know I will be doing Ironman Rhode Island 70.3 which will be my first triathlon at this distance.  1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and followed by 13.1 mile run.

For the last couple of weeks my co-worker and I have been trying to determine what charity/organization we should use our Ironman race to raise money and awareness for.  We knew we both wanted something related to kids.  As I researched and came across Make-A-Wish Foundation I knew immediately this was a great cause.  This charity helps the most deserving kids experience something beyond imagination.

To receive a wish, the child must be diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition – i.e., a progressive, degenerative or malignant condition that has placed the child’s life in jeopardy.

Make-A-Wish Foundation of America
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities.  To read more about how wishes are granted visit here:
