Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Well, I've done it again and decided to run the Boston marathon! With little time to train before the race, somehow I still just couldn't resist. My main goals are to: cross the Hopkinton town line without barfing, get up heartbreak hill without coughing up a lung, and maybe even hit the finish line before the sun goes down. So help me by donating to my run!
I am raising money for MAB Community Services. MAB provides services for the blind and visually impaired, adults with developmental disabilities, and kids with brain injury. My wife Sara worked at MAB for two years and attests to the incredible services this organization provides for adults with developmental disabilities, kids with traumatic brain injury and services for the blind and visually impaired. People in need are provided with housing, residential schooling, adaptive equipment and vocational training, just to name a few services. MAB doesn't get many marathon numbers every year, especially when compared to larger nonprofit organizations such as Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund. I am honored that they are willing to entrust one with me, and I hope to meet their fundraising goal. The money raised will go a long way in this organization!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. If you are more comfortable, you can also mail a check made out to MAB Community Services. Their mailing address is: MAB Community Services, 200 Ivy St, Brookline, MA 02446. Don't forget to make a note that you are supporting my fundraising efforts!
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
