First off, thanks to all of you who have continued to support my run over the past 4 years. As usual, I'm late in getting the site set up this year, but still going to try it again, and still attempting to reach the goal of $1000. I am looking forward to a personal best in my 5th anniversary in supporting the Organization for Autism Research, which raises money for supporting graduate-level studies in assisting children with autism in better assimilating into society (http://www.researchautism.org/).
This year, I have signed up for the Cleveland half marathon again on May 20th. Just in case I cannot make it to Cleveland this year (and chances are looking slim this time around), I have also signed up for the Columbus Cap City Half Marathon on May 5th. So, yes - that also means there is a small chance that I might try to run both... it really depends on how crazy I feel when May rolls around. This may also be my last year of running the half - because I've been thinking about running a full marathon at some point, and what better time to try than at age 45?
So you all have one year to talk me into (or out of) taking this next crazy step! and now for the charitable giving disclaimer...
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
And yes - I need a new picture - this one is now 2 years old. Kyle is now taller than me :)
