Hi! Welcome to my 2015 AIDSWalk Tucson fundraising page! This year the family has elected Enzo as family spokesdog for the campaign, so this is the only time you'll hear from me. Believe me, Enzo is cuter and much more entertaining!
Last year our team raised $7,280 to support Southern AIDS Foundation! We were so proud! We walk in honor of my brother, Bobby, who died in 1994, and all the people still suffering with AIDS in our community. Many people think AIDS is no longer a problem because the mortality rate has dropped significantly; however, we know many people in our community still suffer with AIDS. They need the services provided by SAAF: housing, food, medication assistance, case management, and support. And we feel strongly that we cannot stop working to prevent new HIV infections in our community until AIDS has been eradicated. Permanently!
With your help, this year we plan to raise more than ever: $7,500! You can help in a couple of ways:
1) Make a gift to sponsor our team! Enzo might even come take a photo with you!!
2) Join our team and take Enzo for a walk on October 11, 2015. You can just walk in soldiarity, or you can fundraise to help reach our $7,500 goal!
In much gratitiude and love for your past support of our walks,
Laura Alexander and ENZO!
