I have always had a passion for young people. Life can be difficult, even more so for our young people. Having someone believe in you can help you start to dream big for your life. It can help when we have "cheerleaders" to say I believe you can do anything! In September (2015) I had a dream in my heart to take on a big goal, something that terrified me. I wanted to demonstrate to others that we need to shut down the voice in our head that says "that's stupid", "that is impossible", or whatever other lie we might listen to. If we want to accomplish something, even when it seems to big for us or seems impossible we need to push past the doubt and start believing in ourselves . By setting a goal, following a plan and making a commitment to work hard we could accomplish the seemingly impossible.
I ran the Grand to Grand Ultra 2016 (273km) in an effort to encourage others to DREAM BIG! I am continuing to set big goals for myself in an effort to demonstrate that with a commitment, a goal and hard work we are all capable of doing extraordinary things. I hope to use my own adventures to raise funds and awareness for Impossible2Possible(I2P). The mission of impossible2Possible is to encourage youth to reach beyond their perceived limits, and to use adventure as a medium to educate, inspire and empower young people all over the world. They use Experiential Learning Programs and expeditions deliver the world to the classroom and the classroom to the world!
All expedition expenses are covered for Youth Ambassadors and all i2P Experiential Learning Programs are delivered free of charge to schools and students around the world.
