Well, It's another year later and I'm another year older, fatter, and slower. As usual, my goal is to finish the Cleveland Half Marathon under 2 hrs and raise as much money as possible for Autism Research.
In order to motivate you to donate and me to run fast, I am again pledging to match 10% of all money raised on this page for every minute I finish over 2hrs. In other words, if I finish in 2:02 and raise $500, I would owe $50 for each minute($100 total). I will commit to pledging up to $250 out of my own pocket should I end up passing out on the course and not finishing.
Fun Facts to entice you to donate and for me to pay heavily: A comparison of statistics from my first half marathon to today....
2009: Weight - 178, Work outs - 2 a day, Eating habits - Home cooked meals and subway diet, Finish Time - 1:54
Today: Weight - 188, Work outs - 2 to 3 a week, Eating habits - Whatever I can find in an airport, Finish Time - ? but it could be ugly...
In all seriousness, this is a great cause and has been named "Best in America" by Independent Charities of America. I appreciate any help you can offer.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
