UCONN Stamford SGA for Camp Promise East 2015
DEAR UCONN STAMFORD FAMILY:
We appreciate your support of Camp Promise East on campus in February 2015. Due to unforseen circumstances beyond our control, we decided the best way to continue raising money as a Husky community due to student demand was to launch our own online page.
Camp Promise East is the only camp that exclusively serves kids and adults with muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular disorders. A program of the Jett Foundation, we welcome campers of all ages (age 6 and above) from New England & the Tri-State area. Please help us make camp a reality for everyone!
All donations are tax-deductible and every dollar truly makes a difference. It is only with your support that we are able to offer camp FREE of charge to all of our campers.
OFFLINE CASH OR CHECK DONATIONS:
Please see Ofonime Udokoon, President, UCONN Stamford SGA, or an SGA officer in room 1.21 through Tuesday, March 17th. Cash donations are accepted. Camp Promise East also will gladly accept checks as well, and it's probably easiest to go to the SGA room and give it to an officer, again, through Tuesday, March 17th. .
Checks can be made payable to "THE JETT FOUNDATION". On the bottom of the check, in the "Memo Field", be sure to write "CAMP PROMISE EAST" - this way, donations can be directly earmarked to the camp program.
After March 17th, SGA will (as is customary) send an envelope with a check for the cash donations raised on campus, as well as check donations, to the Jett Foundation / Camp Promise offices near Boston.
Do you want to know more about camp? Are you interested in participating as a volunteer or camper?

Camp Promise-East 2015 will be held in Worcester, PA in July 2015. We realize that most of our UCONN Family has prior comittments already planned for this summer, so if they want to help in addition to donating, please email Camp Promise's director, Libby Brockman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope to have additional volunteer opportunities in our home base area of Stamford, CT available by March, 2015.
Thank you for supporting Camp Promise-East!
