Ramah Galil Ride 2011

Rabbi Mitch Cohen's Fundraising Page

Each summer Ramah camps throughout North America include children and teens with a wide variety of developmental disabilities, including Down Syndrome, Autism, Aspergers, and other special needs.

In the words of one of the parents of a participant: “This is the most inspiring program in my daughter’s life, giving her the only opportunity to form friendships with Jewish peers and to be accepted into a community of hundreds of supportive Jewish children and young adults.”

These programs are obviously quite expensive to run and to adequately staff, and we try to offer as much financial need as is necessary for everyone who wants to participate.

Therefore, we are now raising funds on a national basis through this new initiative, a Ramah bike ride in Israel, to take place in May.

I have decided to join this ride and I’m hoping to raise at least $5,000 from my friends and family.

It would be great if you could help me reach this goal by contributing any amount. I hope to reach and maybe even exceed this goal in the coming weeks.

Also, I would be delighted if you decided to join me on this ride. Visit the Ramah Galil Ride website to register for the ride.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Thanks so much for your generosity and support.
