This is the second year I am helping raise awareness and helping raise money for kids to get adopted through MARE! Because last year was such a great success, this year's goal is going to be bigger. Please consider helping me out in the growing event.

ADOPTION= "voluntary acceptance of a child of other parents to be the same as one's own child"

As an adopted older child, I have been blessed to be alive and telling my story to those who might not know how big this event is to me.

At the age of five, I was adopted from Russia. Though all the things I went through, I was lucky to receive parents that truely care about me and my siblings. Not knowing what to expect, I took a risk of going home with my parents and the rest has been history!

There are other children/teens that have been lucky as I am; however, there are many that are still waiting to be adopted. Many are waiting to be adopted from Foster care and  from orphanages. For every Child that is waiting, there are parents that do not know yet that they can change a future and provide a home to those less fortunate.

If you are pregnant, congratulations! If not but you know you would like to have kids, please consider adopting a child. Even adopting a child to grow your family is an opportunity for one child out there looking for a home.

PLEASE take a few moments to donate to my page and together we can make a difference to at least one child! Every dollar counts; whether it be 1 dollar or 100 dollars, we can help raise awareness for children and teens who need homes!

If you have nothing to do on a sunday morning, why not walk a 5k (3.1miles)! please join me and my family in walking the MARE's 3rd Walk for Adoption on May 20th. Contact me for more details.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone whom you think might want to donate too!
