Morgan has Dup15q Syndrome. Everyday, she struggles with physical and complex medical issues. Morgan has Epilepsy, Cortical Visual Impairment, Low Muscle Tone, Sensory Processing Disorder and Global Developmental Delays just to name a few. We have taken on the quest to get Morgan a Service Dog.
Dup15q Syndrome is a rare genetic condition. There are approximately 1000 people identified with this condition worldwide.
Morgan has had multiple types of seizures. Seizures put her at great risk. They can interfere with breathing, cause regression or lost skills, permanent brain damage, and even death. They are unpredictable. Morgan is monitored closely at all times.
Morgan has been approved for a service dog through 4 Paws for Ability! A service dog will help her with her anxiety and to help us detect seizures in the ongoing battle against epilepsy. And they are trying to place a seizure detecting service dog with Morgan. And we can't do that without your help.
4 Paws for Ability enriches the lives of children with disabilities by training and placing quality, task-trained service dogs. This provides increased independence for the children, and assistance to their families.
Any dollar donated in Morgan's name to 4 Paws for Ability will help the dream of a Service Dog for Morgan come true and make a huge difference in Morgan's and our family's daily life.
