Help Bob Benjamin support Doctors Without Borders!
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. I set up this Page to help me raise funds for the causes that I care about most.
Doctors Without Borders volunteers could make a lot of money and have very comfortable lives in private practice or as hospital physicians anywhere in the developed world.
Instead, they willingly go to the worst places on the planet, sometimes risking their own lives in the process. When they get there, they share the primitive conditions in which those they are helping spend their whole lives.
I have been a regular monthly contributor to Doctors Without Borders for over ten years. Now I am giving you a chance to do the same. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to contribute to DWB's fundraising efforts.
Don't have a credit card? You can send a check made payable to Doctors Without Borders in your own currency to:
Please write "Robert Benjamin - GreenWords" on the check so she knows to credit it to this fundraiser. She will then mail your check to the Doctors Without Borders office in your country. (So it could take several weeks before it's cashed.)
Can't decide how much to give? There is information on what can be purchased (in US dollars) with your donation here:
Any other questions? Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org (my personal email address).
If you would like to give directly to a related initiative that DWB leaders endorse, please consider Project Peanut Butter. PPB provides lifesaving food aid to Malawi, Niger, and other countries where starvation kills thousands of children under 3 every year. PPB and similar organizations in the US and overseas are making it possible for these children to do what they otherwise could never do - live to grow up.
If you belong to an organization seeking a worthy cause to support, you can forward this message to your fundraising, social action, or other committee. If you want to set up your own Fundraising site, I hope I have shown you how easy it is to do it.
Many thanks for your support-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
