Rowan, Catie and Brony Poppen-Eagan's Page
Thank you for visiting our swim-a-thon page!
Rowan here; Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Last year, Catie and I were one of the top fundraisers in our swimming group thanks to your support. We'd like to count on it again this year. It doesn't matter how much you donate, just that you do. We love swimming at King and it's given us so many great opportunities to train with excellent coaches. Last year, I qualified for the Pacific Northwest Swimming Long Course Championships in the 200 backstroke for the first time ever! I also swam in the finals of an international meet in the 200 backstroke. Those of you who know me, know I want to be a national class backstroker, so you know how it exciting it is to me to start to see those dreams coming true.
My sister Catie is a great swimmer too--she has lots of gold standard times and kicks butt in the fly. This December she had a respiratory infection but she still swam all 5 of her pentathlon events at the division championships, set best times in 4 of her events, qualified for the upcoming gold meet in February and took 14th overall at the pentathlon for 10 year olds--not bad for someone who couldn't breathe. She's tough even if she is my sister.
My littlest sister, Bronwyn is on the team too. She's 6 and she's very cute in her King cap. She swims the free, the back and the breast stroke. She loves making friends and swimming at the meets.
When you support us, you're supporting our whole family in an activity the three of us share.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! See you at the pool.
