What would you give up to save a life?

smallsacrifice is a movement to change the world through empowerment and incremental giving. It’s all about awareness, understanding, and movement.

We are a movement. smallsacrifice is about a lot of people doing a little bit, resulting in a lot of change. Some people feel powerless, like their small sacrifice can’t make a difference. EVERY small sacrifice makes a difference, and when we come together we can change the world.

We are a team of passionate individuals. We are a team of people who are “too small” to make a difference or to have a voice. We are a movement that reads the previous sentence and doesn’t care. We are the spark that will light a fire that can change the world, one lunch at a time. We are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, sinners and saints, rich and poor. We are you.

Join us.

Here’s the idea: ask people to give up something small for one day, a specific day, and give that money to a specific organization that impacts the lives of children. Have them do something small, yet experiential. Make it easy and secure, through PayPal and perhaps text donations. Make it count, by picking a partner with an exceptional track record, a high return rate, and a similar mission and passion. Make it cohesive by asking participants to share their stories, creating a feeling of belonging to something bigger. Make it big, by using the power of social media and the moral need to make a small sacrifice to save a life.
