Friends and Family--
In an effort to support local communities that are working together to drive their own development projects in Rwanda and Uganda, throughout the month of October I am going to donate 12 hours of my time to edit videos for Spark MicroGrants (www.sparkmicrogrants.org).
The videos were originally created on the ground by local facilitators, Spark organizers and the community members themselves. I am excited to help put it all together to tell the story of the projects and the amazing communities that worked together to plan and implement them. In early November, the final product will be shared far and wide online to raise awareness about Spark and their partner communities.
I would love your support as I take on this project. Think of it like a work-a-thon that will help hundreds of people put their ideas into action. From now until November 1st, donations of $50 or greater will be matched by the Segal Family Foundation (max $1000 per donor, max $10,000 total).
Thank you very much for your support, or, as they say in Rwanda, "Murakoze cyane!"
