Kilimanjaro New Years

 Thank you for your support!

“When the story of these times gets written, we want it to say that we did all we could, and it was more than anyone could have imagined." – Bono

For over a year I have been supporting an organization called Flying Kites, an organization that seeks to raise the standards of care available to the world’s poorest children. This year I have made it my passion to do more than I could have imagined in supporting Flying Kites. Not only do I hope to raise money desperately needed for this cause, but I hope to travel to Africa in December to visit these children in need and to ring in a New Year with them, a New Year of hope and change. Additionally, in support of this cause, I will push myself physically to the limit by climbing the highest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Why is Flying Kites so important for our future?

Flying Kites goal is to break the cycle of poverty in the world. They are a non-profit organization that strives to give these children the tools they will need – education, imagination, and resolution - to succeed in and contribute to a complex and changing world. They prepare them to impact their societies through an emphasis on compassion, advocacy, and leadership. Flying Kites is an organization concerned with helping vulnerable children around the world. Currently, they are building The Flying Kites Leadership Academy, a home and school for abandoned, abused and orphaned children in Kenya. If you want to learn more about Flying Kites, please visit thier website -

I urge my friends, family and colleagues to help change the lives of those in need. Please donate to this challenge and do more than anyone could have imagined in breaking the cycle of poverty.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
