2013 Polar Plunge Carlyle

Carlyle, Illinois

Fredbird's Page

Whoever said that birds fly south for the winter must not know me…FREDBIRD! While all the other birds in town are making flying south for Spring Training, I am here in St. Louis showing my support and bearing the cold for some of Baseball’s biggest Fans….Special Olympics Athletes!

On Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 I will once again be taking an ICY DIP and leading over 500 brave souls into Carlyle Lake as part of the 2013 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics Illinois.  As many of you know, Special Olympics helps children and adults with intellectual disabilities develop their strength, courage, and physical fitness through the platform of sports training and competition.

To join me in taking the plunge simply visit and click the Register Now Snowflake. During the registration processes don't forget to choose Fredbird's Plungers as your team!

Thank you for your support – and don’t forget to forward this to all your friends who may be interested in donating or joining my team!!!

Our Area have the bravest most faithful baseball fans….I challenge all of you to join my team, Fredbird’s Plungers, and help make a difference in the lives of over 1,100 local Special Olympics athletes here in the Metro East!!
