Wakefield , Massachusetts

Mary & Debbi's Page

Several years ago, my young cousin was diagnosed with ALS – more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.  This terrible disease robs people of their ability to move, eat, speak, or breathe while still leaving their minds intact.  My cousin Willie, died from this disease at the young age of 35, leaving a young wife and small daughter behind.  Two years ago, my uncle, Willie’s dad was also diagnosed with this disease and lost his battle this past March.

On September 8th, 2012, Debbi & I and many of my family members are walking for a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.  Please help team Sweet Williams reach their goal to support research to end this terrible disease so that no one else needs to suffer like our family has.  Thank you in advance for any support that you are willing to give.
