Welcome back to all my very generous supporters of years past and a special welcome to those of you that are new to this web page. The annual AIDS Hike for Life is an event that is very near and dear to my heart. It brings me great pleasure to participate in this event and this will be my 10th year hiking for the cause!! My brother and I lost our dad to an AIDS related illness on November 5th, 2002. He was 46 years old. I completed my very 1st AIDS Hike in 2002 while my dad was still alive- he was very proud of me. When my dad passed, I was left with many unanswered questions and I was very angry. I wasn't sure I'd be able to participate in another hike because I was consumed with overwhelming feelings of sadness and anger and felt I'd do an awful job at raising money and awareness. Then one day I reluctantly agreed to deliver Thanksgiving baskets to home bound families that were both infected or affected by the AIDS disease. That experience not only humbled me but it ignited the spark that allowed me to create an amazing team known as 'Cowboy's Angels!' Cowboys Angels consists of my fearless crusading friends that hike every year after tirelessly obtaining sponsorships including personal contributions of their own in order to be successful in some day eradicating this disease. So I ask all of you to please join me in this fight and consider sponsoring me so that Cowboy's Angels could bring home the gold on this 10 year anniversary!!! Thank you for all of your support. God Bless!
