Thank you for sponsoring my Chain Off Efforts for Dogs Deserve Better in the 2011 Chain Off Campaign. I will be chained on the Pennsylvania Capitol steps for 10 hours, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Monday, June 20th. Please come join me! We need MORE people than just me there to show them that it's what all dog-loving Pennsylvania citizens want: NO MORE CHAINS!

AND, in the best news of all, at 5:00 p.m., on the Capitol Steps, while still chained to our doghouses (We will unchain each other) my wonderful fiance Joe Horvath and I will be MARRIED! I'm so excited! I've always wanted to get married in an unusual way. What better than to combine my passion for my man with my passion for my cause? Luckily for me, he's decided to be a good sport about it, and so it shall be! Thank you, honey, for making me so happy.

The focus of my year since February 4, 2011 has been fundraising for the DDB Good Newz Rehab Center for Chained and Penned Dogs, where we are transforming Vick's Bad Newz Kennels into the Good Newz Rehab Center for Chained and Penned Dogs.

We are still actively fundraising and hoping for some major donors to come our way.

Any donations given to my sponsor page during Chain Off 2011 will be split between the DDB general fund and the DDB Rehab Center fund, because even though I need to continue fundraising so the organization can stay afloat and maintain our programs (such as education, legislation efforts, rescue and rehabilitation, and fencing), I also know our dogs need and deserve this center.

It's time.

Despite the heavy workload, I've still managed to foster 14 dogs for DDB since January because I know these babies need our help to be free and find a new, inside home and family: Buck, Baxter, Chubby, Roxy, Ezekiel, Zoe, Honey, Brody, Tucker, Hunter, Riley, Ebby, Rocky and Polly want to say a big THANK YOU for sponsoring me.

I would encourage everyone to foster even one dog per year. It helps the rescues out so greatly, helps the dog out, and even helps you out by giving you something to feel great about.

Please support my efforts to raise funds for DDB and our Rehab Center. Without our donors, we truly are nowhere. Your continued belief in us makes it all happen.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
