Hi Family and Friends:
I've been riding hard, but with starting a new job, and having a few hiccups with my living conditions (I have to move again this month), I haven't had much time to ask for your sponsorship. I hope you'll consider sponsoring me in this important event. I do it yearly because it means so much to me...because it means so much to the people we help. It's been tough raising sponsors this year, and NYS, with its budget issues and political deadlock, has been pretty unhelpful. So time for our community to step up and help ourselves.
If you could put off buying that mp3, sponsor me with your coffee money for a week, or just send me your good thoughts and prayers, I'd greatly appreciate having you along with me on my ride.
I promise to ride 100 miles, in any weather, against any wind, for as long as it takes, to earn your sponsorship. I hope you'll be able to help out.
Thank you so much. Always.

Why is HIV/AIDS a problem? Why do I ride?
New York is #1 in the U.S. in AIDS cases, and AIDS is the #2 killer of adults 25-44 years old in NY
6000 people in the world die every day from AIDS
It is about giving hope and support to the hundreds of people who struggle with HIV and AIDS in our community.
It is about making sure our communities receive honest, accurate and up to date information about HIV/AIDS and how to stay safe, reduce risk and make healthy choices.
It is about promoting and sharing understanding; the understanding that AIDS is an incurable, but preventable disease.
