Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. I'm back at it again! Trying to save the world... One mile at a time. One dollar at a time! This would be so much easier if I had Superpowers but, alas, I do not. So in leiu of being able to leap tall buildings in a single bound... I'll be running the Chicago Marathon this fall in support of Autism Research!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
You've helped me on two occasions in the fight against Leukemia. With your love, support and donations we have raised nearly $10,000!
Now I ask you to join me in the Run for Autism!
I’ve never experienced caring for a child with Leukemia. Having to sit and hold her after chemotherapy- wishing I could take all the pain away. I’ve never watched a parent slowly slip away to Lou Gehrig’s disease. I don’t know the pain of rushing my brother to the hospital because of Multiple Sclerosis.
I don’t know what it is like to try to raise an Autistic child in a world where most people can only indentify Autism with the movie "Rain Man".
But what I do know is this:
"There are things I cannot do. I cannot watch while people suffer, I cannot sit when something must be done, I cannot judge those who are different. There are things I cannot do. Run away, hide, ignore. There are things I cannot do. But there are certainly things I WILL do." - Padme Amidala
