Thank you for coming here to learn more and donate to Friends of the Pound in Stark County Ohio! This is my favorite local charity that does so much good work for the animals in my community.
Now, you may wonder why a cat supports an organization whose mission is to serve dogs. Well, first of all, I am an evolved feline who has learned from my canine friends on Twitter and Facebook that dogs and cats can coexist and be pals. Second, Friends of the Pound works with other rescue groups in Stark County that help cats, and they have agreed to share my fundraising proceeds through collaboritve projects.
Friends of the Pound is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to coordinate community outreach, rescuing and fund-raising efforts for the puppies and dogs being held in the Stark County Dog Pound. Friends of the Pound operates in cooperation with the Stark County Dog Warden's staff to significantly enhance the quality of life for the homeless puppies and dogs and to increase their opportunities for placement through adoptions or rescue groups. Friends of the Pound is extremely grateful for the continuous support and involvement of our community.
The compassionate mission of Friends of the Pound is to work diligently toward seeing every homeless puppy and dog being held in the Stark County Pound, adopted into a loving forever home. We believe all dogs have the right to human affection, an indoor home, adequate medical care, and proper nutrition. We believe that through the groundwork of community education, volunteer service, and networking with rescue groups we are laying the path to our compassionate mission's goal.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
