There is a lot that could be said about why I decided to participate in the Indianapolis Ride For Kids, but it all comes back to a connection with the McQueen family. After Brianna's diagnosis, I constantly struggled with how to help. After the 2011 Indianapolis RFK, Steve McQueen was asked to be the Task Force Leader for the 2012 ride. As soon as I heard the news, I knew I wanted to be a part of his team. This was a way that I could help to make a difference!
The Ride For Kids doesn't just raise money by collecting fees to ride, it gives people an avenue to gather donations from their friends and family. Sometimes it seems like a $10 or $20 donation wont make a difference, but they all add up. FirstGiving is a perfect method for adding up all of those donations, to help put an end to Pediatric Brain Tumors.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated by many, and go toward an amazing cause!
