The Huntington's Disease Society of America is thrilled to announce the inaugural HDSA Wyoming Team Hope Walk/Run coming this September 2012. We will be walking in Gillette with those 30,000 people who are diagnosed with HD each year in the United States and their families, to provide them with Help For Today and Hope For Tomorrow.
HD is a “family disease,” not just because it is inherited, but because it profoundly affects the entire family emotionally, socially and financially. There is only one FDA-approved treatment for a symptom of HD but no cure. We are fighting against time in order to save our friends and families.
Join our Team Hope Walk/Run Committee! The Team Hope Program is HDSA’s signature grass-roots fundraising event which takes place in over 80 cities across the country. Thousands of families, friends, co-workers, neighbors and communities walk together each year to support HDSA’s fight to improve the lives of people affected by HD and their families.
If you are interested in volunteering in any way, please reach out to Londen Fuernisen at firstname.lastname@example.org or 307-299-3039. Let’s make this the last generation with HD!
