Benefiting HUMANITY FIRST USA

This fall of 2011, Humanity First USA is hosting its sixth annual walk for Humanity in Los Gatos, California.

Walking with a Purpose:

Join us for a fun family oriented walk at the beautiful Vasona park in Los Gatos. Come with friends, family, and children and enjoy the great outdoors. With nice paved walking trails and beautiful weather Vasona park is the place to be on a Sunday morning.

Check out a quick video about the walk.

The goal is to raise funds for our core projects this year, which include elementary school support programs, medical missions to Africa and South American countries to conduct free surgical operations and train local healthcare professionals, increasing our response time to disasters around the world, and supporting our Water For Life program.

Educational and Vocational Training: Designed to help create capacity and self sufficiency through providing support for primary education for children and vocational training for adults in various under-privileged communities in the US and around the world. Water for Life:  Having access to safe drinking water is essential to sustain human life. Due to natural disasters or other means, in some countries the water quality can be severely compromised by infectious and toxic agents that can be hazardous to ones health. Since 2005, Humanity First took on an initiative to provide developing nations and communities devastated by natural disasters, clean sustainable water supply. Click here to learn more

For example: One water well and a hand pump ($5000) supports a population of 500 with water for life.

Other programs you'll be supporting through your donations, but not limited to:

  1. Ghana Surgical Missions
  2. Gift of Sight Program
