IRONMAN Miles for Melanoma Triathletes 2013

IRONMAN Miles for Melanoma Triathletes 2013

Welcome to Miles for Melanoma Ironman!

As an Ironman participant, you know it takes hard work, discipline, and time to achieve your goals.  So do we.  Whatever your Ironman goal is, being a part of the Miles for Melanoma team means you will help raise awareness of this lethal disease and contribute funding needed to make critical research advances.

Why should you care about melanoma? As athletes, our prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation increases our risk of developing this disease. Join the Miles for Melanoma team now and help make a difference in the fight against melanoma!

Click "Join Now" to register for the 2013 Miles for Melanoma Triathletes Team. Then create your fundraising page - tell your friends and family about the need for research, why it matters, what you are doing to help, and ask them to make a donation. Your personal story will encourage them to support you.

You can start your fundraising at any time, regardless of your registration status with Ironman.

Registration on this page is for the 2013 fundraising team only. If you're going to race in a 2014 event, please go to our 2014 page to regsiter.

FREE RACE ENTRY!
All athletes who raise funds for Miles for Melanoma will be eligible for race entry and travel reimbursement based on your fundraising success. OUR GOAL IS $100,000! Your goal is to earn one of these Great Prizes.

KONA ENTRY COMPETITION:
Please review all the details and rules for your chance to win entry to the World Championship in Kona, 2014.

Note: Our current top fundraiser, David Kay, is participating in Kona 2013 and is not eligible for the competition to win the 2014 entry. When viewing other's fundraising accomplishments, you will not need to consider Mr. Kay's as part of this contest. (good news, right?!)

With your help, we can reach the goal of finding new treatments and cures
for people affected by the deadliest form of skin cancer.
