Join us for the 31st Annual Bowl for Kids' Sake!!

Bowl For Kids' Sake is the largest annual fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Each year half a million people across America come together to have fun and raise money to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. Please help to make an impact on our community- it only takes a little bit of effort to raise the money that is vital to our program’s success.

The top individual fundraiser will recieve two (2) Southwest Airline Round Trip Tickets!!

Can’t make it to the bowl-a-thon? Don't worry! Be a virtual bowler and raise vital funds from your friends and family without having to make a trip to the bowling center. Follow the steps below to set up your personal webpage today and spread the word among your friends!

If you'd like to support our cause and would rather donate directly to Gulf Coast Big Brothers Big Sisters, click the "Donate" button to the right or contact us directly at 409-763-4638.

Bowling Dates: Sunday, August 7th from 1-3pm OR Tuesday, August 9th from 6-8pm.

How can I get involved?

  1. Select "Fundraise" to the right, then select the correct event.
  2. Create a FirstGiving account to allow you to log-in and sign-up for an event.
  3. Set a team fundraising goal and AIM HIGH! Ask others to support you by sharing your webpage via email and social media.
  4. Have Fun! And thank you for supporting Gulf Coast Big Brothers Big Sisters!

Please Note: Each bowler (participant) must raise $75 for his/her participation and will receive two free games of bowling and shoe rental. Please choose from one of two dates to bowl (8/7/16 or 8/9/16) and form a team of 4-5 bowlers by recruiting friends, family, or co-workers who will help you reach your goal. That can be as simple as collecting $25 from 3 people!

Where does the money go?

Big Brothers Big Sisters depends on donations to conduct background checks on volunteers to ensure child safety; and provide ongoing support for children, families and volunteers to build and sustain long-lasting relationships. Your role in this effort to help local children can not be over stated: We need your help to raise community awareness of the challenges faced by local children and to ask for the financial support need to help change the trajectory of a child’s life.

Remember, it’s not about how good a bowler you are, it’s about celebrating the impact the money your team collected will have on your community!
