The MISS Foundation's Kindness Walk is an international memorial walk to remember all of our beloved children who are gone too soon, and to honor all of the mothers, fathers, families, and communities by participating.
The MISS Foundation's international community invites you and your loved ones to participate in our walk because death is not bigger than a family's love, and because even in their absence, they continue to walk with us, as we walk for them.
Basic agenda for the afternoon.....
1:00 pm - Registration
2:00 pm - Opening Remarks/Walk Begins
3:00 p.m. - Information Tables, Refreshments
3:30 p.m. - Closing Remarks
******We will have a memory table. Please feel free to bring a picture of your child, and/or any momento to honor your child & share with us*******
For our Kindness Project this year, we are once again asking for the following donations:
Teddy Bears, Candles, Newborn Onsies/Jumpsuits (packs of 2 preferred, if possible), Receiving Blankets (2 of the same, if possible.) We will be creating care packages for newly bereaved parents and donating them to local area hospitals.
Also, one of our support group facilitators has offered to make prayer flags - this is a project that has been done by Carly Marie of To Write Their names in the Sand every August in Australia - bereaved parents worldwide have participated. Please contact Stefanie directly no later than May 1st if you are interested in her making a prayer flag for you. Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
