The Paul Jackson Fund, Inc. (PJF) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 corporation, that helps individuals and families in the tri-state area (NJ, NY & CT) who are in financial crisis due to a long term illness or disability. The PJF provides grants to qualifying individuals for health-related needs, as well as for family and household needs. The PJF was started back in 1991 for Paul Jackson, who became paralyzed as a result of a surgery to remove a spinal cord tumor. When Paul needed an intensive outpatient physical therapy program and his insurance company refused to pay for it, friends and family came together to raise money to help Paul. After Paul no longer needed assistance, he assumed the leadership of The Fund. For 18 years Paul dedicated his life to helping others in great need. After a courageous battle with spinal cord cancer, Paul passed away in 2009. His wish was for the work of The Paul Jackson Fund to continue. Now celebrating the 24th year of giving, we are able to fulfill Paul's wish through your continued support.
