Paws in the Park Atlanta 2013

Paws in the Park 2013 will be the third annual charity dog walk benefiting Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption. In the past two years, Paws in the Park has raised over $150,000 thanks to our amazing sponsors, vendors and walkers.  As our largest fundraiser, this walk raises funds that directly benefit the animals at our no-kill shelter. Our 2013 goal is to raise $180,000 to support operations in our expanded new building, and for our continued efforts to rescue homeless pets and place them in loving homes.

Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption (APRA) is a non-profit, volunteer-based, no-kill shelter dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and cats so they can be adopted into safe and loving forever homes.

These donations enable us to provide medical care and rehabilitation services to animals that are in need all over Atlanta. We have saved countless lives and helped add new family members to many Atlanta families and even some lucky families that come to see our shelter from a variety of states.  Medical needs are just one area where your donations help us. Recently we signed a lease on a new facility that is twice the size of our current shelter.  This means, we need extra help this year to raise money as we begin to renovate our new shelter! The year of 2013 must be the best year of Paws in the Park yet and we can’t do it without you!
