Unity Miles Kickoff Event!!

The Pittsburgh PH Support Group welcomes you to Walking PHor a Cure for PH in support of the Race of Our Lives Campaign. We may be able to walk ourselves. We may need a walker or wheelchair. We may even have someone walk for us. Either way we will be there to support each other. Let’s start Walking PHor a Cure and cover the miles of the country together.

Race of Our Lives is a campaign to involve the pulmonary hypertension community in raising PH awareness and funds locally through Unity Mile events for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Race of Our Lives shows the PH community’s enthusiasm for Team PHenomenal Hope’s in the Race Across America (RAAM) high-endurance cycling event in June 2014. The team, which includes PH-treating physician Patricia George, M.D., will ride in honor of PHA, raising funds and awareness along the way. Race of Our Lives allows everyone touched by PH to be a part of this coast-to-coast journey where the challenges mirror those faced in the daily lives of PH patients and their families.
