Walking for Prader-Willi Syndrome 2016 - Virtual Walk

Sunday, April 17, 2016

The 16th Annual Walking for Prader-Willi Syndrome events raise the public's awareness of PWS,  provide families an opportunity to connect in an atmosphere of complete understanding and acceptance, and raise much-needed funds for PWCF's valued programs and services.

Post a PWS WALK Yard Sign in your front yard during May for PWS Awareness Month! Imagine the public awareness we will raise with PWS WALK Signs posted in yards across California... and beyond!  Each sign measures 18" x 24". Keep your sign up all year long for even greater awareness!

Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a rare, complex genetic disorder that affects growth metabolism, cognition and learning, appetite, behavior, and overall development. The most troubling symptoms of PWS are behavior problems similar to those in Autism, and an insatiable appetite no matter how much food is eaten. PWS interferes with independent living and impacts every aspect of the individual’s life.

Prader-Willi California Foundation is here to help.

PWCF is the only organization in California that is solely dedicated to providing families and professionals the tools they need to support their loved one, patient, student or resident with PWS. We work hard to improve the quality of life of all who are challenged by PWS.

Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. TIN 95-3480752
