Walking for Prader-Willi Syndrome 2017 - Virtual Walk

Wednesday, March 01, 2017

PWCF's 17th Annual Walking for Prader-Willi Syndrome events raise the public's awareness of PWS,  provide families an opportunity to connect in an atmosphere of complete understanding and acceptance, and raise much-needed funds for PWCF's programs and services.

Register as a Virtual Walker and we'll send you a PWS WALK Sign to display in your front yard. Display it through May to honor PWS Awareness Month and all year long for even greater awareness! Imagine the public awareness we will raise with PWS WALK Signs posted in yards across California... and beyond! Each sign measures 18" x 24".

Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a rare, complex genetic disorder that causes a drive to eat that is never satisfied no matter how much food is eaten, a metabolism that is almost half the normal rate, weak muscles, growth failure, learning problems, behavior problems, and more. PWS interferes with independent living and impacts every aspect of the individual’s life.

Prader-Willi California Foundation is here to help.

PWCF is the only organization in California that is solely dedicated to providing families and professionals the tools they need to support their loved one, patient, student or resident with PWS. We work hard to improve the quality of life of all who are challenged by PWS.

Please donate today to support our programs and services. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. TIN 95-3480752
