So what exactly does a Parent Child Center do?

Invest in the Future of our Communities and support us in our mission of Strong Communities, One Family at a Time.

The leaves are turning, another school year has just begun and Springfield Area Parent Child Center is getting ready to enter into its 25th year of service to the communities of North Windham and South Windsor counties.  There has been lots of growth and change for us since the kernel of an idea sprouted the beginnings of this agency with a community advisory council and very limited funding in 1991.  In January of 1992, with the help of state legislators and the advisory committee  we obtained the official PCC status through state appropriation.

Throughout these years, we’ve been proud to become known for the wrap around services essential for young children and their families to thrive and live in stable supported homes.  Perhaps you or a family member or a friend have benefited from home visits to aid in early childhood development, family service support or with resource assistance for child care/subsidy.  Or maybe it was one of our Parent Education/Support or Play Groups that helped a young family and you noticed how it made a difference for them.    Your donation today would go a long way to help us continue to provide these important services in our communities.

Your tax deductible donation can make a difference in the lives of children and their families in our region.
