2013 Law Enforcement Torch Run

Friday, May 10, 2013

In 1985, Chief Stan Stevens (ret) of Wolfeboro brought an idea back to New Hampshire from the Annual Conference of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. That idea was to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics New Hampshire through the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR). What started as a series of runs to kick off Summer Games has now grown into a
year-round commitment by Law Enforcement across New Hampshire.

This year marks the 29th year Law Enforcement and Special Olympics New Hampshire (SONH) have been partnered in NH. You are “Guardians of the Flame.” Make the decision today to participate in Law Enforcement Torch Run! Even if you haven’t participated before, we encourage you to try it. The athletes of Special Olympics New Hampshire deserve your support. Together we can make the Law Enforcement Torch the most successful ever!
