Join us for the 19th Annual Walk for Wildwood as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary! This short two mile walk around beautiful Cook Park in the Village of Colonie raises important funds that directly support our programming. Participants will enjoy the park, entertainment, food, vendor fair, prizes and awards and the event is open to the community. Registration and Community Fair begins at 9:00am and the Walk begins at 10:30am. Hope to see you there!
Participating is easy, here are a few ways to get involved!
1) Register and Walk!- Follow the steps to register for the 2017 Walk for Wildwood and come to the event on September 23rd! Early Bird Registration is now open which offers a reduced registration fee of $15 and includes a 2017 Walk for Wildwood t-shirt. After September 12th and at the door the registration fee is $25 and includes a 2017 Walk for Wildwood t-shirt.
2) Create a Personal Fundraising Goal!- When you register for the 2017 Walk for Wildwood you can create a personalized fundraising page with a goal. Upload photos and include why you Walk for Wildwood! Challenge your friends and family to help you reach your goal by sharing information about the event and your goal via email or social media. You will not only help bring in additional donations, but raise awareness about Wildwood Programs! Your supporters can make a gift towards your goal on your personal fundraising page or by sending a check to Wildwood!
3) Form a Team!- Ask your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to be a member of your team and participate in the 2017 Walk for Wildwood event! They can register online and create their own personal fundraising page with a goal too!

Are You and Wildwood a Perfect Match?
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Check with your employer and encourage your supporters check too and you could double your impact! Last year’s Walk received over $1,000 from companies who matched the charitable gifts made by their employees.
