Are you man enough to “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®?” The 2013 YWCA Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is a light-hearted event, which raises awareness regarding sexual assault in our community, as well as funds that assist in supporting the YWCA Silicon Valley Rape Crisis Center.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness month and on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 your YWCA invites you to “walk a mile” with community leaders, businessmen and students in women’s high heeled shoes through the streets of downtown San Jose.
A half an hour in women’s shoes is a small price to pay! By participating in this walk, you will assist the YWCA Silicon Valley in reaching its aggressive goal to end sexual assault in our community. But should it occur, those affected will receive critical support services because of the YWCA Silicon Valley.
